How to Earn Bitcoin in Coinbase
Explained in the simplest of terms, Bitcoin is digital money that you can use to make purchases or send to friends or family across the internet without incurring fees from third parties such as credit card companies and banks, who usually take a cut out of every transaction. A couple of years ago, an American man named Laszlo Hanyecz bought two pizzas using 10,000 Bitcoins he had mined back when the currency was worth virtually nothing. Today those same Bitcoins are worth over $120 million!
Step #1: Get a Coinbase Account
To begin, you need a Coinbase account, so go ahead and create one (if you don’t already have one). This is easily done by registering with an email address and password. Once your account is verified (and you purchase $100 worth of bitcoins or more), you’ll be able to buy and sell crypto currencies at will.
Step #2: Connect Your Bank Account
If you plan on buying crypto currencies and trading them on an exchange, you’ll need a Coinbase account. This is where they keep your coins safe. The downside of using coinbase is that there are multiple reports from users claiming that coinbase accidentally took money out of their accounts through things like overcharges. Some users claim coinbase actually stole money directly from their bank accounts.
Step #3: Buy $100 Worth of Bitcoin
Once you have created an account on Coinbase, you can purchase $100 worth of crypto currencies using your bank account. Click Buy/Sell and then select Buy Digital Currency at top of page. Now select how much bitcoin you want to buy and choose which payment method (i.e credit card or bank account) that you would like to use.
Here's how I did it
You'll get $10 if they buy at least $100 worth of bitcoin or ethereum with their first purchase, and an additional $5 if they buy at least another $100 within their first week. To get started with referrals, click Earn at the top of coinbase and then Referral Bonus. You'll be prompted to enter your email address so that coinbase can send you an invite link.
